After 18 years in the industry and a highly successful sales and design business, Clay and Kelly Cox realized it was time for further growth within their company. They decided on a second showroom on Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples. Not only is it a great location, but it is surrounded by the standard of Fifth Avenue—beautiful flowers, flowing fountains and delicious restaurants. As a bonus, there is a back entryway from a plentiful parking area.

Kitchens by Clay focuses solely on providing high-quality, competitively priced cabinetry for the entire home. “I especially like kitchen renovations, because I really enjoy the one-on-one personal relationship that forms while guiding a family through the process,” says Clay Cox. “When you see them move their own things back into the new kitchen, and it theirs, that’s when the true sense of accomplishment happens for me. The satisfaction of that is what we really live for.”

The Kitchens by Clay staff boasts a collective 70 years of experience, which is reflected in the expertise and personal attention offer to customers throughout the kitchen renovation process. “We understand that it’s not familiar to most people, so we don’t start by walking around the showroom or showing them door samples—we start by sitting down and talking to them, learning who they are, their lifestyle and how they use their kitchen space,” Cox explains.

The hands-on approach has resulted in dozens of enthusiastic and satisfied customers who are happy to refer Kitchens by Clay to family, friends, neighbors—and even strangers. The company has an extensive “Please Call Us” list of previous customers happy to share their Kitchens by Clay experience with those considering it. Potential customers can also peruse a bind of satisfaction surveys that are mailed with final invoices to each customer. “We really appreciate our customers taking the time to complete this. It is a great tool for us and a wonderful reward for doing our job right,” says Cox.

He encourages anyone considering home remodeling or new construction to really know who they are working with and make certain they are reliable, established and trustworthy professionals. “The best way to do this is to get a referral. That is what we have built our business on and our customers feel very comfortable working with us,” explains Cox. “Each day we strive to make our customer’s experience the best ever.”
